HEALTH AND SAFETY
The health and safety of our campers and staff is the utmost importance. As an accredited American Camping Association camp, we go through an extensive review and assessment every three years to maintain our status. Most years we we exceed their expectations in all areas. Criminal and sex offender background checks on all staff members and employees. In addition, the State of New Hampshire inspects camp yearly for compliance and strict safety and health standards.
Medical Care: Two nurses live on camp grounds and provide coverage 24 hours a day. We have clinic calls three times a day to be pro-active towards any minor illnesses. Our local pediatrician, Dr. Mark Harris in Bradford, VT, oversees our nursing staff and the office is 20 minutes away. Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital is 35 minutes from camp. All medical staff are licensed by the State of New Hampshire. We also have a college athletic trainer on staff full time to assist with any sports related injuries or needed physical therapy.
