We are a 3rd generation run traditional camp located on a small 1 mile lake which is perfect for swimming and boating. We border the Appalachian Trail for hiking or pack a lunch and climb nearby Mt. Cube for a 3 mile expedition to the summit. We also boast some of the best field facilities in New England with 6 hardtop tennis courts, 3 full size soccer fields, giant swing, rock wall complete with zip line, an outdoor pavilion and amphitheater perfect for hosting special occasions.  All this, just a short 2 1/2 drive from Boston.

In this relaxed setting are rustic cabins that sleep on average 10 people, each with windows and screens, cold and hot running water with 2 to 3 sinks and 2 to 3 toilet stalls.  We also provide more private residences located within the camp grounds. Merriwood can accommodate up to 200 people, and has a large dining hall, complete commercial kitchen facilities and chef and sous chef to meet all your culinary needs. 

Our attentive staff at Merriwood is what makes your special time relaxing and care-free! We live on the grounds and are always available to add the extra touch.
